Nicole grew up in Jasper, Georgia, attended Pickens High School and graduated from Mercer University in 2008 with a degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice. After college, Nicole attended Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in Montgomery, Alabama, graduating with honors in 2011. While in law school, Nicole served as an appointed member of The Jones School of Law Board of Advocates and was a member of her law school’s prestigious mock trial team. Nicole’s team placed second in the intra-school Greg Allen Mock Trial Competition. Additionally, Nicole earned a Public Interest Fellow designation because of her commitment to public service during her law school career.
After graduation from law school, Nicole returned to her hometown in Georgia and served as an Assistant District Attorney for the Appalachian Judicial Circuit. As a prosecutor, Nicole handled a variety of cases ranging from misdemeanors to felonies, including juvenile cases. After serving the State of Georgia for 4 years, Nicole began her career as a criminal defense attorney in private practice. Her experience as a prosecutor allows her to zealously defend clients who are facing criminal charges.
Nicole is duly licensed in both Georgia and Alabama. She is admitted to practice in the Georgia Supreme Court, Georgia Court of Appeals and the Northern District of Georgia. She is an active member in the Cobb County Bar Association, Younger Lawyers Division and Women of the Bar section.
